TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – We face another day of moderate to major heat risk across the region with temperatures remaining unseasonably warm. However, a slight dip in temperatures begins this week, bringing highs in the 90s back to the seven-day forecast. Expect a slim chance of late-day showers and thunderstorms today, with the best chances to our west and south where storms could produce heavy rain and localized flash flooding. Meanwhile, drier air moving in from the east will keep storms out of Cochise County. Another impact today will be patchy blowing dust that could reduce road visibility. Looking ahead, storm chances will build daily, with the most active weather expected Monday through Thursday.
