TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A Tucson man is facing several charges after allegedly attacking his newlywed wife.

Christopher Anthony Harmon was arrested last month on charges of strangulation, kidnapping, aggravated assault, and aggravated harassment.
The 30-year-old is being held on a $100,000 bond and also has several other cases in Tucson City Court, Oro Valley Magistrate Court, and Marana Magistrate Court.
During his initial court appearance on July 29, the state asked for a $50,000 bond, but the judge set it at $100,000 after hearing from the alleged victim. The judge said Harmon was already on misdemeanor probation for a domestic violence offense.
According to the interim complaint, Harmon and the woman have been married for only three months but had lived together in the past.
Harmon allegedly strangled the victim numerous times on July 27, causing her to lose consciousness.

Harmon is also accused of refusing to let the woman, who had bruises on her face, leave their home.
According to court documents, Harmon had an active order of protection against him at the time of the incident.
