The Paradise Valley Police Department said it received reports from several residents that packages had been stolen from their porches.
Investigators said surveillance video showed a woman walking up to homes and replacing recently delivered packages with empty boxes, likely from other stolen packages.
Police later identified the woman as Brieanna Clark. She was arrested Thursday at a home near 32nd Street and Shea Boulevard.
Detectives searched the home and found jewelry and other items that had been reported stolen, according to police.
Clark was taken to the Maricopa County Jail, where she was booked on felony theft charges.
Paradise Valley Police reminded residents to close garage doors when not in use, lock doors and set alarms. The department also said motion and glass-break sensors are important parts of a home alarm system.
