TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Storms this afternoon have been firing well east of Tucson in Cochise, Graham, and Greenlee. Those storms have the potential to bring more heavy rainfall, possibly in excess of 1 inch, which could lead to more flooding concerns throughout our evening. Tucson is on the very westward extent of this moisture with only a 10% chance of rain. Rain and storm chances increase again into early week. Best rain chances for Tucson are on Tuesday (Election Day), around a 40-50% chance. Daily rain and storm chances are present in Southeast Arizona through the coming workweek with lowering chances into the weekend. The biggest storm threats throughout the week continue to be the concern for excessive rainfall and flash flooding.

As for temperatures, we’ll stay below-average through Wednesday before the heat kicks back up late week and into the weekend bringing triple-digits back. Potential to see 105° for Tucson highs next weekend. Enjoy those 90s while you can!
