PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The FBI is investigating after shots were fired at a federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) building in central Phoenix Tuesday afternoon.

According to the FBI, at least one person fired several rounds that struck the exterior of the ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations building, located near Central Avenue and Palm Lane.
No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
A protest was held outside of the office later that day, but there’s no indication that the two incidents are connected.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the shooting to call the FBI toll-free tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI or submit a tip online.
