TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The Tucson Police Department said a small plane crashed near Park and Bilby on Friday, May 15.

The TPD said the biplane appears to have hit a pole, but there were no injuries.
The incident will cause some traffic problems in the area while the investigation takes place, according to the TPD
As of 3:30 p.m., Park was shut down from Mossman south to Bilby.
There have been several small plane crashes in Arizona over the last few months, including a fatal one in Marana last month.

- On March 4, three people were hurt when a small plane went down and crashed into a north Phoenix neighborhood.
- On April 7, two people went to the hospital after a small plane crashed into a home in Fort Mohave.
- On April 8, two people were injured when a plane crash landed in Cave Creek.
- On April 8, two people died in a small plane crash at Marana Regional Airport.
- On April 12, a small plane was forced to land on a Phoenix street after losing power. There were no reported injuries.s
- On May 10, a Cessna C150 went down on US 60 near the Superior Municipal Airport and narrowly missed a family driving in their vehicle. There were no reported injuries.
