Police identify man who died after being attacked at Phoenix care facility

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Investigators have released the name of a man who died after being attacked at a Phoenix care facility last week.

The victim has been identified as 60-year-old John Solomon.

Phoenix police were called to the Olive Grove Assisted Living Facility on Indian School Road near 30th Street just after 5 a.m. on Thursday, July 2. There, they found Solomon with serious injuries.

He was taken to a hospital, where he died days later.

Detectives said a witness told staff that Solomon was injured and that an unknown suspect had hurt him before leaving the scene.

No arrests have been made.
