Sells man pleads guilty to abusive sexual contact of a minor

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A Sells man has admitted to sexually abusing a minor.

On June 26, 39-year-old Mario JB Juan pleaded guilty to one count of abusive sexual contact of a child.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said that Juan admitted to knowingly engaging in sexual contact with the victim, who was under the age of 12, in 2015.

At the time, Juan was working at the Head Start Program in Sells.

Juan is scheduled to face sentencing on October 8 and could serve a maximum sentence of life in prison with a maximum fine of $250,000.
