TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The Tucson Fire Department is investigating the cause of an apartment fire.

The TFD says the fire started at 2:48 this morning, July 6, near 11th Avenue and West Sahuaro Street, which is near Grant and Oracle.
Tucson Fire officials say the building was evacuated and crews prevented the fire from spreading to other apartments.

The fire was contained in about ten minutes.
The TFD says two residents are displaced.
Four dogs were rescued from the apartment, but a fifth dog did not survive.
