TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The Santa Rita Fire District responded to a mountain rescue at Bog Spring Trail in Madera Canyon on July 3.

The SRFD said crews arrived at approximately 8:49 a.m. and hiked 0.65 miles to reach the patient.
Firefighters were able to safely rescue the patient using a Stokes basket.
The patient was transported to the hospital for medical evaluation.
