The Astrie Luxury Apartments opened Friday as part of phase one, with the first residents moving in.
The Uptown project spans 2.5 million square feet and is designed to create what developers describe as an “urban resort village” featuring upscale apartments, designer townhomes, stores, restaurants, entertainment, office space and public gathering areas.
Construction ongoing
Much of the project remains under construction, and no timeline has been announced for completion of the entire development.
Construction began shortly after developer Bourn Companies released plans for the space in May 2023.

“If people that are downsizing and coming into an apartment from a home, they’re used to entertaining as well,” Rodriguez said. “The spaces give you the ability. You come straight across the pedestrian bridge from the garage, and you can use these spaces to entertain and not have to worry about space in your apartment.”
