The SVPD said a call was made around 3:30 p.m., and the mall and Cool Cuts were evacuated out of an abundance of caution.

Fort Huachuca’s K9s responded and checked the area at the mall, and nothing was found. Both locations have since reopened.

The investigation is ongoing, according to the SVPD.

It was the second bomb threat at a mall in southern Arizona this month.

On June 5, the Tucson Police Department responded to reports of a bomb threat at the Park Place Mall. The threat was not credible, and the mall was open a few hours later.
