Tucson man pleads guilty to making child porn

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A Tucson man pleaded guilty to two counts of production of child pornography on June 8.

The Department of Justice said 31-year-old Shams Khan Rehman admitted to using Snapchat to communicate with individuals and paid them to exploit minors under the age of 12.

The DOJ said that under Rehman’s direction, the individuals produced images and videos documenting the abuse and sent them to him.

Rehman is set to face sentencing on September 3 and could get a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
