PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Phoenix police are looking for a man who they say threatened a person with a gun, led officers on a chase and then crashed near Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport Thursday night.

It started in the area of 46th Street and Chambers Street, south of Roeser Road, around 7 p.m., when police said the suspect pointed a gun at the victim.
The pair then got into the car and the man drove off, but officers later found them.
Because of the violence reported, officers chased the car, police said.
The driver eventually crashed near State Route 143 and University Drive, and he ran off.

The victim was not hurt.
Police are searching the area with the help of a K-9.
